IDEAS and our market research partners at Integrated Insight completed a comprehensive brand and experience design plan to relaunch Jungle Island, a beloved Miami destination. Historically a walkable zoo with bird shows, the new Jungle Island combines the best of close-up animal encounters with waterpark attractions, an upscale beach club, all new entertainment shows, and a jungle-lodge themed hotel. The IDEAS team also oversaw the redesign and activation of the new Jungle Island experience.
In Phase 1, the work included Jungle Island rebranding, identity, core distinction focus and operational planning, brand activation and market profiling, demand modeling, pricing and ticketing strategy, and codifying the new Jungle Island guest experience. Phase 2 tackled the leadership of the design/build program incorporating a new water park and mix of attractions through value engineering, staff enculturation training, animal inventory and habitat upgrades, live entertainment additions and enhanced food and beverage offerings.
