IAAPA Headquarters

When they relocated from Washington DC to Orlando FL, The International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) approached IDEAS to help activate their new brand identity and develop a way to engage members in their new headquarters. The IDEAS team worked with IAAPA’s leadership and architecture and engineering team to create, design, fabricate,producxe and install the themed elements, interactive media, and brand accents for the new lobby space.
Design elements include a backlit IAAPA logo statement, branded wall and window treatments, membership interactive map kiosk, and IAAPA leadership honor-wall installation. A selfie photo station features visual elements from IAAPA’s “Funworld” quarterly magazine where visitors can place themselves on the cover the magazine as a digital keepsake.
IAAPA’s extensive collection of iconic industry stories can now be searched and explored at the Oral History kiosk. The membership interactive map demonstrates the organizations global reach. Using a 50” touchscreen monitor, visitors can zoom into a digital world map and view IAPPA member locations by name, country, region, city, and even down to street level.
Winning an IAAPA award is one of the highest honors within the attraction industry. IDEAS designed a wall installation to highlight current year award winners along with an interactive kiosk that features all past award winners with video stories about each award winner or recognized industry innovation.
