IDEAS has been awarded three Crystal Reel Awards for their work on Adventure to Fitness, the groundbreaking 30-minute series for kids that brings health and physical activity together with geography, science, social studies, and language arts. In an awards ceremony hosted by the Florida Motion Picture & Television Association, Inc. (FMPTA) Metro Orlando Chapter, IDEAS received awards in the categories of Best Sound in a TV Series, Best Graphic Design in a TV Series, and Best Overall TV Series.
“We are extremely proud of the entire Adventure to Fitness team and honored to have been recognized in multiple categories” commented John Lux, COO of IDEAS. “This is a tribute to everyone’s hard work on the project and says a lot about the quality of work the whole team puts out for such a worthy cause.” Adventure to Fitness is available to elementary schools nationwide giving students the opportunity to build active and healthy habits for life. In just its second season, the series is in more than 3,500 schools in 48 states and is regularly viewed by more than 1 million students every week. Adventure to Fitness is written, shot, and produced, along with all aspects of post production by Orlando-based IDEAS. “There is no better validation of IDEAS’ talent and creativity than these awards,” said Michael Rhattigan, CEO, Adventure to Fitness. “With their help, Adventure to Fitness has become one of the leading programs for children’s health and fitness across the United States in a very short period of time.” Every episode challenges kids to a 30-minute workout while also learning about geography, science, social studies, language arts, and health. The exciting live action and animated video, combined with guides for teachers and parents, makes the program ideal for teaching health and wellness to children. The program is designed to meet state and national standards, in collaboration with teachers, parents, and school officials. From a teacher’s perspective, one of the program’s main advantages is its ease of use, making it effortless to introduce into any classroom.
