Rebecca Hodges, Producer/Director/Editor at IDEAS since 2010, has been named Vice President of Women in Film & Television – Florida (WIFT-FL). WIFT-FL is charged with building positive images of media-makers (both women and men), empowering them to achieve their highest professional/creative potential, and helping create more job opportunities throughout the state of Florida. As an organization, WIFT continues to search for and retain members who have a minimum of two years’ experience working in the film, television and digital media industries.
“I got involved with Women in Film & Television through IDEAS in 2013 and quickly realized how important the organization is for the state of Florida,” commented Rebecca. “After spending two years on the Board, I was honored to be considered for the role of Vice President and I’m looking forward to connecting with more creatives and expanding our outreach. I am excited for what this year will bring for WIFT-FL. I want to share my passion and drive with other industry professionals and focus on building stronger networking opportunities not only in Central Florida but throughout the state.”
