IDEAS is participating in the nationwide Social Madness competition, a one-of-a-kind corporate media challenge that measures the growth of a company’s social presence. More than 4,000 entries were received nationwide, including more than 100 in Central Florida. The competition begins with companies of like size squaring off against all others in the same local category. Voting for the first round takes place between June 1 – June 18, 2012. The top companies in each size division will face off in brackets, and local winners will eventually move on to a national competition. The national champs in each division will earn the right to designate $10,000 to the charity of their choice. The growth of the contestants’ social media presence will count toward the competition.
