Foster Productions and IDEAS Given Pink Partner Award

By John Lux

Foster Productions, Inc. and IDEAS were awarded the Pink Partner of the Year at the Scooters 4 Hooters fundraising event to benefit Libby’s Legacy Breast Cancer Foundation. In 2012 IDEAS teamed with Foster Productions, Inc. to help produce a video for LLBCF to enter into the PinkWell Challenge contest which awarded grants to charities that focus on raising funds for breast cancer research and assistance to those affected by breast cancer. The video, while not winning the online voting contest, did place in the top 3 videos and LLBCF was awarded $45,000.

IMG_2810Jennifer Foster from Foster Productions and Mary Anne Metaxas from IDEAS were in attendance at the event and accepted the award on stage. Jennifer Foster accepted the award on behalf of the entire team, including many people from the Orlando production community, all of whom donated their services, equipment and efforts to making the video.

The Mission of Libby’s Legacy is to provide comprehensive breast health care to the under-served Central Florida community through education, mammograms, follow up diagnostics and Hope Coaches on the journey from diagnosis to treatment. Libby’s Legacy also helps stage IV breast cancer patients battling this disease by granting wishes in order to create cherished memories with loved ones through the LIVE BIG program. Not just Surviving…but LIVING! As of January 2013 Over 3,600 breast health services have been provided, 53 breast cancers have been diagnosed through these lifesaving diagnostics and 6 LIVE BIG cruises have been granted!
