IDEAS has been awarded four Telly Awards in 2013. Telly Awards were presented for work on a marketing video for SkillsTutor, the company of choice for cloud-based, digital, personalized assessment and instruction to significantly increase student achievement, two awards for its Funky Holiday Sweater music video, and for its work on a TV sport for the Grigorovich Ballet.
“We are proud to have won a Telly Award for each project that was nominated,” stated John Lux, COO of IDEAS. “Anytime you win an award it means a lot but for the Telly Award committee to recognize the quality these three projects with four awards, it says a lot about our team and the quality of work we do.”
The SkillsTutor video, featuring SkillsTutor CEO Adam Hall explaining why SkillsTutor is the right choice for online learning, was awarded the Telly Award in the Non-Broadcast Productions – Direct Marketing category. The Funky Holiday Sweater video, featuring IDEAS’ in-house band, 64 IDEAS, and the rest of the IDEAS team, was created in December to go with the annual IDEAS e-greeting, which allowed users to create an on-line holiday sweater. The video quickly became an internet sensation, even being featured in the New York Daily News. The video was given Telly Awards in the Internet/Online Video – Viral and Comedy categories. The TV spot created for Grigorovich Ballet won a Telly Award in the Local TV & Local Cable Spot – Use of Graphics category.
