Duncan Kennedy’s 15th Workiversary

Tomorrow, July 1^st is Duncan Kennedy’s 15^th Workiversary with IDEAS!!

1. What is your favorite part about your job? Every day is different and we get to go/do/see/make things that we would never have the chance to do anywhere else.
2. Any funny stories and/or big accomplishments you’re personally proud of from this year? I was onboard the International Space Station for about 10-minutes while visiting NASA’s Hybrid Virtual Reality Lab at the Johnson Space Center in Houston last month. That was pretty cool. Totally forgot about gravity and got to look down at the Earth from the Cupola in the ESA’s observatory module of the ISS. I have now been to space — no rocket necessary.
3. What’s one of your favorite projects/jobs you have worked on at IDEAS and why? The ones that I had passion for – thankfully, that’s been most of them (so far). Not gonna pick a favorite. Nope, not gonna do it.
