This past Friday we had the privilege of doing a shoot for one of our best corporate clients, Siemens Corporation. It was a small green screen shoot with teleprompter with one of their executives for pieces of two videos. The shoot took place at a hotel on at Walt Disney World and we had a very tight schedule, our talent had about an hour for the shoot. From the creative side there wasn’t much out of the ordinary but from the technical side we had another opportunity to use a RED camera. While our final deliverable will be 1080, we used the RED Scarlet-X camera and shot 4K, just because we could. Our DP just got the camera and wanted to use it so he made the price right to us so why not. And we figured the better the quality for acquisition, the better the quality of the end product.
