An Emmy Award winning editor, Sam’s career in post spans three decades; PBS in the 70s, NBC in California in the 80s, and from day one at the Disney-MGM Studios when they opened in 1989. Sam’s current role is that of Senior Editor for the IDEAS Studio team. His first-hand experience with the industry’s transition from analog tape to non-linear suites to HD brings a seasoned and valuable perspective to IDEAS. Sam’s specialty is cutting television shows, from daytime dramas and game shows to sitcoms and children’s entertainment but his visual storytelling skills are also used for corporate communications. When not at the controls of the edit bay, Sam can be found out on the golf course or at home, cooking with his family. His culinary specialty? “One step above prison food”.
