Wendy was born in the Simpson’s hometown of Springfield, Ohio, but unlike her animated counterparts, she actually grew up on the west coast of Florida. After graduating with her undergraduate degree in Elementary Education, she honed her classroom skills for four years teaching Grades 3-5. Returning back to academia, she earned her Masters in Instructional Systems and after a stint helping the Army as a Training Administrator, she found her way to the IDEAS Learning Team. Wendy’s unique blend of classroom, corporate, and institutional experiences gives her keen insight on developing the right training solutions for any learning environment. Always ready to roll up her sleeves, Wendy has already been recognized for mentoring children with incarcerated family members and although she doesn’t have any kids of her own, she has delivered a baby while working with a hi-tech delivery simulator called Noelle™ for which IDEAS recently developed an online training program. When not experiencing the world as an educator, Wendy likes to push the limits with adventure travel, extreme sports and supporting her Orlando Magic!
