Cruise and Destination Experience Design
Larry Stauffer has over twenty-eight years of experience in hospitality and entertainment managing multifaceted teams, taking on challenging and unique projects, optimizing budgets for profitability, and performing strategic analysis for business development. Larry began with Marriott Corporation where for 10 years he held many different food and beverage management positions. Larry then joined Walt Disney World as a Regional Food & Beverage Manager during the massive Disney hotel/resort expansion of the late 80’s and early 90’s assisting in the pre-opening of new food facilities across the Walt Disney property. He served as the Operations Manager for Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon and Disney’s River Country Water Parks and, prior to retiring from Disney, Larry was Port Adventures Director for Disney Cruise Line. In this role, he developed and managed Port Adventures across Disney’s worldwide cruise destinations resulting in numerous coveted accolades from industry partners, earning him an industry reputation for passionate and well-thought-out product development and delivery. Larry was instrumental in implementing the vision of Disney Cruise Line’s private island, Castaway Cay, collaborating with construction teams, Walt Disney Imagineers, island communities, and local governments to help turn a secluded island into a one-of-a-kind cruise destination for Disney's guests. Larry also served as Vice Chairman of the Florida Caribbean Cruise Association.
