IDEAS was hired to create a DVD of famed painter Thomas Kinkade traveling across Israel painting select famous locations. Mr. Kinkade traveled throughout Israel and our client shot him painting at multiple locations while he explained the historical significance of each location. The shoot included interviews with him, b-roll and documenting the paintings being executed. IDEAS was responsible for the entire post production process. We first stared with organizing and categorizing the tremendous volume of footage that was captured. After that, we determined the logical order of the videos. Once we knew the journey that we would take viewers on, we edited each video segment as a painting was started through completion. The videos segments and the overall DVD had an original graphic design look that we created. Once all the videos were completed, transitions were created so the viewer could watch the DVD as a single long-play video or as individual clips on the DVD. Below is the intro video on the DVD.
