Starfighters

Starfighters: MACH 2 is a docu-adventure series starring the pilots and crew of the only civilian-owned fleet of supersonic jet fighters in the world.  They fly the legendary F-104 Starfighter, the first combat aircraft capable of sustained Mach 2 flight.

Flying a non-computerized, manually controlled plane at Mach 2, gives the term “another day at the office” a whole new meaning and these impassioned guys are risking their lives each and every time they fly.  Time and again throughout its flying history, the F-104 has earned its nickname, “The Flying Coffin”.
