Online Awareness and Viral Marketing

In 2007 IDEAS created a team combining hip hop and pop culture to achieve a cheesy “Man Band” called “Goldfingaz”. The Goldfingaz was also created for the purpose of experimenting with viral marketing and social awareness. Goldfingaz is made up of five staff members of our Design and Programming department. The Goldfingaz came fully equipped with a Flash website, music video, live street performances, behind the scenes and interview footage to spread all around the web. The result was thousands of views and followers in just a two week period.
