Job Opportunities
We are currently looking to fill the role of LEAD DESIGNER. This is a full-time position within our Design & Programming department and would report to the President of the company. Candidates must have extremely strong creative thinking, concept and design skills and the ability to quickly develop multiple visual concepts based on client direction and team feedback. Fresh thinking to drive new design approaches across diverse solution sets are a daily reality. Candidates must have a broad palette of visual styles and artistic and creative familiarity across a wide range of industries including travel & leisure, healthcare, military, and corporate communication and be comfortable in learning/training, entertainment and branding as well as dimensional design for location based experience. Projects run the gamut of all media and experiences including broadcast television, online, mobile, eLearning, print, live event, virtual/simulation, and location based.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years design experience
- Adobe suite of tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Flash, Dreamweaver)
- Illustration (hand drawn, physical/architectural space and character)
- Storyboarding
- Web Design (including user experience design)
- Logo design/brand standards development
- Create HTML pages and design email blasts
- Interact with team and clients in a professional collaborative atmosphere
- Passion for forward thinking design & trends outside daily projects
- Ability to lead and be part of a team
- Flexible schedule- early, late, weekends & travel (not regularly, but when needed)
- Microsoft Office
Desired Skills:
- Working knowledge of HTML, Java Script, CSS, 3D (Maya or other software)
- SketchUp, AutoCAD or equivalent
- Lesser used portions of the Adobe suite of tools include Fireworks, Premiere Pro, and After Effects.
- Print design/layout
- Mobile Apps
- Gaming
- Network of people with additional skills (rolodex of freelance connections)

We are also currently looking for freelance CSS3 Designers/Animators needed for multiple possible upcoming projects. Development will follow existing creative and may be created in Sencha Animator, Adobe Edge or coded with CSS3 Keyframes. Candidates must live in the Central Florida area and be available during regular business hours. Work may be done at artist’s home/office or on-site at our facility. Candidates must be able to work in a highly collaborative environment, multi-task, and participate in a team-based planning process and must be customer service oriented with a “can-do” attitude even when faced with complex requests. Internships
We are currently looking for an unpaid graphic design intern. Candidates should have a desire to acquire design skills and professional experience. Individuals can qualify by having amateur knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. We are looking for this person to be able to commit to 2-3 days per week with a consistent schedule over a 3 month period. Upon completion, intern will have developed a more professional portfolio for upcoming interviews in the career of Design and Graphic Communication.
